He wanted to go green, reduce his energy bills to zero, and be prepared for future electric vehicle (EV) charging. As an IT specialist, he also needed a reliable backup power source. To meet his needs, SJ Power designed a solar panel system that could charge batteries for backup power when needed.
We also ensured the system would look good on Ben’s modern home. Despite some weather challenges, the project was a success and was completed within 3 days. Now, Ben enjoys energy independence, and a sleek solar setup, and is ready for his future electric vehicle.

Our Approach
Crafting the Perfect Solar and Battery Solution
Every project comes with its unique challenges, and for Ben’s residential solar and battery installation in Beecroft, we were determined to overcome them with precision and innovation.

For Ben's energy independence and backup power needs, we selected 3 x Enphase 5kWh battery modules, providing his family with a total of 15kWh of battery storage usable during nighttime or grid outages. This decision was driven by our commitment to balancing power capacity and cost-effectiveness.
The 5kWh battery modules offered an expandable solution at a lower cost compared to traditional 10kWh battery modules.
Additionally, our integrated system allowed us to present all the relevant data conveniently to Ben through a single phone app or web browser.
In our quest to deliver the perfect residential solar battery installation, we navigated the complexities of solar panel installation, battery integration, and future-proofing for EV charging, all while ensuring Ben’s complete satisfaction.
